Romero- Made some fine routine saves. Couldn’t do much for Rostov’s equaliser. A dependable deputy to De Gea. 6.5/10

Jones- Poor performance. Caught napping for Rostov’s goal. Passing wasn’t good either. 4.5/10

Smalling- Calm and solid outing for the skipper. Didn’t give the opposition much space to create chances. 6.5/10

Rojo- Inaccurate passing in the beginning but a very solid and impressive defensive performance. Made some crucial tackles and interceptions. Clearly United’s best player on the pitch. 7.5/10

Young- Very confident on the ball. Dangerous runs from a new wing back role. Clearly deserves more minutes. 6.5/10

Blind- Clever performance from the Dutch player. Completed some fine crosses and composed on the ball. 6/10

Herrera- Energetic in the midfield. Only United player in the first half who played with a high intensity. 6.5/10

Fellaini- Didn’t put a foot wrong. Fine performance from the Belgian. Involved in the build up to the goal. 7/10

Pogba- Another off night for the Frenchman. Overrun in midfield. Invisible performance. 5/10

Mkhitaryan- Aggressive in the beginning and was booked. Was in the right place at the right time to slot home an easy shot. 7/10

Ibrahimovic- Some wayward shooting from the Swede superstar. A sublime assist for Mkhitaryan’s opening goal though. 6/10
