Anthony Martial has yet again professed his love for Manchester United and its supporters while ruling out a move in the summer. The Frenchman’s form has been patchy at best this season after being the club’s top scorer last time round. He has played on the left because of Ibrahimovic’s arrival and has scored 10 times less than last season. With rumors of a departure on the rise, Martial was quick to put end to all speculation and commit himself to Manchester United and its fans: ‘For me, what’s really special here is the supporters. They’ve been really outstanding with me. I think that’s what goes a long way to making me feel at home and at ease, and makes me really keen to stay here at the club.’ He insists the club’s support compares favorably to the treatment players can receive on the continent.

SNAPPING HIM UP REAL QUICK

Manchester United seem to be inching closer to a Griezmann deal by the minute. After Simeone’s comments, a number of leading daily’s across England, France and Spain have claimed that the deal itself is just a formality. To top it off, Griezmann himself is reported to have told his close friends and family that he will be pulling the famous Manchester Red next year. The deal would leave United with a £86m hole in their pocket.

Manchester United have been handed an injury boost with star-man Paul Pogba’s injury less severe than expected. Pogba is set to return soon enough for the tough run-in. The Daily Mirror, has reported that Pogba is now slated to return on April 4th against Everton and could be available for the Europa League quarter-final as well as the Chelsea game.

Jose Mourinho was in attendance as Croatia beat Ukraine 1-0. He was reportedly in Zagreb to finalize the transfer of Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic for a £30m deal. But he us unfortunate to see the man himself in action as he sat of the victory.
