Fabinho Tempted By United & New Kit Leaked

FABINHO TEMPTED

Fabinho yesterday admitted that it would be hard to turn down a move to United and the chance to play under Jose Mourinho. In an interview with Ensport Interativo, Fabinho said: “It’s a tempting invitation. I would first talk to my agent, Monaco too, to decide everything right. But it’s a great club, sure enough, I would think well about it.”

BAYERN LOWER PRICE

Bayern have reportedly lowered their asking price for Renato Sanches. The Euro 2016 Golden Boy chose Bayern over United last summer. But, he has not been afforded enough chances to impress and is said to be looking for an escape. Bayern will sell if they recoup the whole of the €35m they paid Benfica for Sanches. United were in the running for Sanches but the managerial change at United caused United to miss out on the young talent.

DARMIAN’S PHONE CALL

Matteo Darmian reportedly spoke to Jose Mourinho yesterday and requested a transfer to Italian Giants Juventus. He has grown frustrated with the limited playing time at right-back. Juve are set to lose Dani Alves and will be in the market for a replacement. United will sell for the right price.

MORE TALISCA

The Anderson Talisca to Manchester United rumors refuse to die. Though the move was all but ruled out by Besiktas, Talisca’s agent Jesse Carvalho retired links. Carvalho said: I have no idea where that (Manchester United link) came from.”

MORE MIDFIELDER LINKS

While United appeared close to a move for Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic yesterday, reports in Italy claimed that a deal for Monaco ace Fabinho was agreed. It came around the same time the player admitted a move for United tempted him. Italy’s Correire Dello Sport revealed that a package of around £35.2m was agreed upon by the two clubs.

PLAIN ENVY

United legend Gary Pallister suggested that Jose Mourinho’s rivals are plain jealous of him. He said: “The win over Ajax stopped a lot of these doubters out there who were saying it was a poor season because United finished sixth.Okay, we didn’t qualify for the Champions League through our Premier League position. But we qualified by winning a European trophy and we also won the League Cup, not to mention the Community Shield. All in all, quite a few teams will be jealous of Manchester United’s season.”

LEAK

The Manchester United 2017-18 home kit leaked onto online yesterday. Fans were impressed by the design which sees a return of the collar button. The traditional three-stripes will Roundup down the shoulder once again after being beneath the arm last time around.

NO GO-MES

Barcelona rejected United’s £31m bid for Andre Gomes after Jorge Mendes’ meeting with the club chiefs. It remains to be seen whether United will improve the offer.
