The Manchester United Loan Report

Adnan Januzaj – Sunderland

The Belgian playmaker was involved for the full 90 minutes of Sunderland’s 2-0 away defeat to Everton. Although he did not have chance to create much, Sunderland did have some opportunities at 0-0 but were unable to take them. After they conceded the game became a more difficult task “if you concede goals as we did at the end of the first half it’s harder for us” Januzaj said after the game. Sunderland remain bottom, three points from safety.

Sam Johnstone – Aston Villa

The on loan ‘keeper kept a clean sheet during Villa’s 1-0 home win against Derby County. It was their first win of 2017 and the first time they haven’t conceded since mid December. His goal was largely untroubled but he did manage a fine save from Darren Bent with 15 minutes left to play.

Andreas Pereira – Granada

The young Brazilian midfielder played 90 minutes in Granada’s 3-1 loss away at Bilbao. He was unable to significantly affect his side’s performance but it is more valuable game time to develop. Granada now sit in the relegation places in La Liga, three points from safety.

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson (Wolves) did not feature in either match day squad for Wolves this week.
