FAN ANGER

A plate was thrown at Paul Pogba by angry fans. Pogba was having a private dinner with friends when the fans approached him for an autograph. He ‘politely’ refused. This enraged the fans and reportedly backed the world’s most expensive into a corner and hurled a plate at him. The bust-up caused the staff at the Indian curry restaurant to call the police. But the police never came after both parties left the premises.

TO RUSSIA WITH LOVE

Manchester United will pay each travelling supporters’ visa processing fee for the Europa League trip to Russia. Around 500 fans are planning to make the 2000 mile trip to Eastern Europe. The club are making this goodwill gesture because of short three week gap between the announcement of the draw and the tie. The tie will be played on March 9th.

HECTIC APRIL

If United make it to the Europa League quarter finals, the club face the prospect of playing an astonishing 9 games over a 30 day period. The club are scheduled to play 6 Premier League games during the month and their European adventure will continue with the two quarter final ties. The April might be the busiest of Jose Mourinho’s career. The last time United played nine times in a month was in December 2013 when David Moyes led the club to back-to-back home defeats to Newcastle and Everton.

DAY-OFF

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho gave his squad two days off following the EFL Cup triumph. The move aims to reduce fatigue among the United squad ahead of a busy schedule in early-March. But in-form right-back may never have heard of fatigue as he hit the gym less than 24 hours after his Wembley heroics. Anthony Martial meanwhile showed his love for the club by driving past Old Trafford with heart eyes.

LINDELOF RIVAL

Manchester City are reportedly set to rival Manchester United for Swedish defender Victor Lindelof’s signature. The Benfica man was strongly linked with £38m move to Old Trafford during the January transfer window but a move never materialized. But the latest reports in Portugal claim that both the Manchester sides face competition from Real Madrid.

CATCH STORMZY

Manchester United fans heading to the Old Trafford megastore have a chance to meet fellow United fan Stromzy. The Gasp hitmaker will be signing copies of his album from 5 pm GMT on Thursday (today).

MOVE FOR BERNARDESCHI

Manchester United are reportedly set to join the likes of Chelsea and AC Milan in the race for Fiorentina forward Federico Bernardeschi. With 10 goals to his name this campaign, Bernardeschi has also been the subject of interest from Juventus.

BACK TO HIS ROO-TS

Former Manchester United player Paul Ince believes that Everton is the perfect place for Rooney to continue his career. This comes after speculation linked him with a move to the Chinese Super League, MLS among other clubs. He is sure to stay with Manchester United at least until the rest of the season. Everton boss Ronald Koeman has also expressed his interest in signing Rooney.
