UNITED DRAW (ONCE AGAIN) VS BOURNEMOUTH

Manchester United missed a big chance to get out of the dreadful 6th place by dropping two big points vs Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Saturday. United missed big chances throughout the game including a missed penalty from Ibrahimovic and two late chances by Pogba. In the aftermath of the game, Mourinho said that United’s top four chances are not dead while Zlatan took full responsibility for the poor result because of which United once again face an uphill battle to get into the top-four.

ZLATAN FACING BAN

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Tyrone Mings might face a ban up to three games because of their fight towards the end of the first half. Mings firstly appeared to stamp Zlatan’s head and the big Swede took revenge moments after by elbowing him. The referee didn’t spot the incident and sent off Andrew Surman, giving him a second yellow card. Although after the match, Zlatan said that Mings jumped into his elbow and Mings also said that he doubted whether the elbow from Zlatan was deliberate.

MOURINHO PLANNING DOUBLE RAID ON MADRID

Jose Mourinho is reportedly planning a double raid on his former club Real Madrid by signing Raphael Varane and Toni Kroos. Although, it’s very unlikely Real Madrid will sell two of their best players. United have also been linked with Danny Rose and Eric Dier.

MATA SET TO SIGN NEW CONTRACT

Juan Mata is reportedly ready to put pen to paper on a new contract. Mata, who has scored 9 goals in all competitions this season has two years left on his current deal and has become an integral member of Mourinho’s squad.
