Keep tabs on Januzaj, Johnstone and Pereira in this week’s Manchester United Loan Report

Adnan Januzaj – Sunderland

The young Belgian played 82 minutes from the start of Sunderland’s 2-0 home loss to Manchester City. In a disappointing team performance, Januzaj was at least trying to create chances for the Premier Leagues bottom side. He played three key passes during his minutes and had one wayward shot. His pass completion of 65% perhaps shows that he was at least taking risks to make something happen for his side. Sunderland will miss next week’s game due to Middlesbrough’s involvement in the FA Cup.

Sam Johnstone – Aston Villa

The on loan ‘keeper has now helped his side to three clean sheets in a row as Villa begin to regain some form and climb the Championship table. Sam played the midweek win over Bristol City at Villa Park and although the opposition hit the woodwork twice, he had few actual saves to make. Villa then beat Rotherham 2-0 away, saving well from a low shot which would have levelled the game.

Andreas Pereira – Granada

Andreas started both of Granada’s games last week. He featured for 63 minutes of the 2-1 home win against Alaves helping his side take a 2-0 lead. The midfielder was then substituted after the away side scored in an effort to protect the lead. He then played 71 minutes in the 1-0 away defeat to Leganes. He was largely ineffective in the game.

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson (Wolves) did not feature in the match day squad for Wolves this week.
