Manchester United players turned to the pool and Jacuzzi as they aimed to relax and unwind following their Europa League heroics against Rostov. Resting in before the crunch Premier League clash against Middlesbrough, the United squad tool to the water to celebrate their progression to the last four. Eric Bailly was snapped up with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Juan Mata and Marcos Rojo as United aimed to get their top-four campaign back on track. Bailly uploaded the snap on Instagram as United looked to recuperate before their match on Sunday.
CROSSING THE DIVIDE
Manchester City powerhouse Yaya Toure has insisted that he will not leave the club but his agent Dimitri Seluk has claimed that negotiations with other clubs are already underway. The midfielder who was frozen out of the Manchester City squad in the initial part of the campaign before playing and apologizing his way back into the squad. Seluk has claimed that Toure has offers from cross town rivals Manchester United among other clubs. Seluk told Sky Sports News: “Why not? Jose Mourinho is a very good coach. Zlatan Ibrahimovic was together with Yaya in Barcelona. I understand this is two clubs who are rivals, but for me, for example, this is not a problem from Yaya or from me. This problem will be from Manchester City staff.”

Manchester United have accepted a £20k fine for the FA for failing to control their players during the FA Cup quarter final against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. United players furiously surrounded referee Michael Oliver in the aftermath of a second yellow card to midfielder Ander Herrera. A statement on the FA’s official website said: “Manchester United have been fined £20,000 after the club admitted an FA Cup misconduct charge and accepted the standard penalty.
TROUBLE IN APRIL
As reported earlier, Manchester United in all probability will face a record 9 fixtures in the month of April. United are already confirmed to play eight fixtures in the month due to their progression in the Europa League. The postponed fixture vs Manchester City at the Etihad will in all likelihood be scheduled for one of United’s open midweeks in April. The month could be one of the busiest in the club’s history as they look to add the Europa League and secure a top-4 finish in the league.

Gary Neville has urged Manchester United starlet Marcus Rashford to make the most of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s suspension and prove a point to manager Jose Mourinho. Rashford took Ibrahimovic’s place in the starting lineup against Chelsea and looks set to do so against Middlesbrough. Neville feels that this is a good opportunity for Rashford to boost his confidence and give Mourinho a selection headache.
