Sam Johnstone – Aston Villa
Johnstone kept his fourth clean sheet in five games as Villa put in an excellent performance to beat Wigan 2-0 away from home. It is now just one goal conceded over that time. With the score at 1-0 to the visitors, Johnstone made a good save to deny Bogle. The home side had 6 shots on target but Sam was on hand to stop any which came his way.
Andreas Pereira – Granada
It was another full game played for Pereira as Granada lost 3-1 away to Sporting Gijon. Granada took the lead when Pereira assisted Sverrir Ingi Ingason just after half time, but it wasn’t enough to bring victory as they then went on to concede three in seven minutes. It is now three games without a win for Granada and they play Barcelona at home next.
Adnan Januzaj – Sunderland
The playmaker was involved in the full 90 minutes of Sunderland’s 0-0 home draw with Burnley. Januzaj saw a fine volley tipped wide by Burnley ‘keeper Tom Heaton. He had two other shots during the game and made two key passes but Sunderland have failed to score in five of their last six games. They remain bottom and although he gets game time, it is frustrating to see him struggle in a rather blunt side.
