Injury Problem’s Mounting Up

ANOTHER SEASON ENDING INJURY

Young is expected to be assessed in the next 48 hours, but his season, and, probably career at Old Trafford is expected to be over. RASHFORD INJURY UPDATE

Mourinho said: “He started the game with a little problem. And obviously, with the running and continuity, he was feeling and Martial was fresh and he had to give us the last 10 or 15 minutes where we thought we could still score because of plenty of space to play.”

SCOUTING MISSION

Manchester United’s scouts will be in attendance to watch target Andrea Belotti play this weekend. United are not the only ones watching the inform player with Chelsea and Juventus scouts also in attendance. Belotti has notched 30 goals in all competitions and is one of Europe’s most in-demand strikers.

PREMONITION?

Paul Pogba has revealed that Marcus Rashford told him that he will score a match winning free kick in the semi-final match against Celta Vigo. Pogba said: “He’s been doing great this season and we trust him. On the pitch, we don’t look at the age. When he took that free-kick, he told me he was going to score and he put it in so that’s the most important thing. We had a lot of chances, it’s happened a lot of times this season but we have to carry on working hard on it and keep creating chances.”

BACK TO MILAN?

Jose Mourinho has told Italian TV that he could one day make a stunning return to Inter Milan. It was with the Nerazzurri that Mourinho won a sensational treble back in 2010. Speaking after last night’s win Mourinho said, “Not right now, but maybe one day.”

MBAPPE SNUB

Kylian Mbappe will reportedly snub Manchester United for a dream switch to Real Madrid. United have had their eye on the French teen especially after Ibrahimovic’s injury. But Mbappe is wary of a transfer to United because of the struggles of fellow Frenchman and former Monaco player Anthony Martial.
