Bruce wants Johnstone & Chicharito return rumoured

BRUCE REA-LEE WANTS HIM

Steve Bruce is scheduled for a meeting with Jose Mourinho after a phone call this week to discuss on-loan keeper Sam Johnstone’s permanent switch. It was long expected that Bruce would make a move for Johnstone after being impressed by the United academy graduate. Bruce, a former United player himself said: “I have had a conversation with Jose on the telephone. I am now going to see him. We hope there is good news there.”

BUYING CHICHARITO BACK?

Jose Mourinho has reportedly looked into the possibility of resigning Old Trafford cult hero Javier Hernandez. Sold by van Gaal to Bayer Leverkusen, Mourinho has throughout the season praised the Mexican. He also revealed that he would never have sold Chicharito in the first place as he is guaranteed 20 goals a season player. United are seemingly getting into a habit of resigning players with Michael Keane already lined up. Mourinho will look to add to his strikeforce in the summer after losing Zlatan Ibrahimovic to a horrific injury.

LUCKY AGENT

Mino Raiola reportedly earned a massive £41m for negotiating a world record move for Paul Pogba in the summer. The super-agent who incidentally is also Ibrahimovic’s agent will earn a cool £23m from the transfer fee. He will also pocket another £16m in the future depending on Pogba’s stay in the future. United also paid another £2m owed by Pogba to the agent’s Monaco-based agency.

TIERNEY TO STAY

Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney will stay in Scotland for another season after his performances attracted the interest of Premier League clubs Chelsea and Manchester United. The 19-year-old was of the star performers during Celtic’s title charge and was named the Scottish Young Player of the Year for a second consecutive season. Tierney said: ““It’s flattering, but I don’t bother about it too much. My pals have been texting me and stuff like that, and it would play more in your head if you weren’t happy at your club, but I’m happy at Celtic. It’s just a story and I’m just concentrating on Celtic and my next training session.”

CIAO DARMIAN

Manchester United are willing to sell Matteo Darmian in the summer and back academy graduate Axel Tuanzebe. Mourinho is also willing to sell one of Chris Smalling and Phil Jones and put his faith in the 19-year-old. Though Mourinho is on the prowl for new centre backs, Mourinho may found the perfect backup option to Antonio Valencia. The possibility of Tuanzebe nailing down the right back spot in a couple of years is also very high.
