Away Kit revealed as FIFA launch investigation into Pogba transfer

AWAY KIT REVEALED

Manchester United have revealed away strips for the next season. The kit is inspired by one of the clubs most iconic jerseys. Inspired by the graphic kit worn by Giggs and Co. on the way to the League Cup triumph in 1992. The kit features a crew cut to give it a modern look. It will be worn on pitch for the first time during United’s Unmissable Tour 2017.

KEEPER CONTRACT I

Manchester United have opened contract negotiations with third choice keeper Joel Pereira. The young keeper has impressed Mourinho this term and was publically praised last week by the boss. The 20-year-old made his one and only senior appearance for the club against Wigan in the FA Cup in January. Mourinho has been impressed with the youngster’s positive attitude and his loan spell earlier this campaign.

KEEPER CONTRACT II

Manchester United have launched a last-ditch attempt to keep David de Gea by offering him a lucrative new contract. United are ready to heavily increase on the £200k a week he earns presently. United are hoping to financially put Real Madrid out of the reckoning for arguably the world’s best goalkeeper.

FIFA COVER

Paul Pogba is set to replace Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus on the cover of the popular FIFA gaming series. Reus starred in the FIFA 17 cover but talks are ongoing to make Pogba the poster boy of the next instalment of the game – FIFA 18. Players like Wayne Rooney, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have graced the cover and now Pogba looks set for a commercial windfall should he seal the deal.

DIER BID

Manchester United will test Spurs resolve with a £40m bid for Eric Dier. Spurs Chief Daniel Levy is desperate to keep his stars but could be persuaded to sell if the price is right. Mourinho has identified the versatile English man to plug various gaps in his squad. Dier has however signed a long-term contract at Spurs. Despite this, Dier is not a guaranteed started due to the presence of Victor Wanyama.

FIFA INVESTIGATION

FIFA have launched an investigation into the transfer of Paul Pogba. FIFA reportedly requested information on the transfer. When questioned about this development, a spokesperson at United said that information had already been provided when the move first happened in August. The coming hours and days will make the situation clearer.

AHEAD OF THE QUEUE

Manchester United hold the edge over Liverpool in the race for in-form Burnley defender Michael Keane. United’s sell on clause means that they effectively have a discount compared to other club interested in the England International. Burnley will sell if United meet the £25m valuation of Keane.
