Bulletin: Which striker will move to Old Trafford?

ALVARO ANNOUNCEMENT SET

Manchester United will reportedly announce the transfer of Alvaro Morata next week. United are set to complete the transfer over the weekend. United are hoping to make an announcement by either Tuesday or Wednesday. Both clubs are hoping to reach an agreement in the coming hours. The player himself wants his future sorted before he gets married and goes off on his honeymoon.

SECOND RAID

United may make a move for Benfica midfielder Anderson Talisca. The £15m rated Brazilian spent the season on loan at Besiktas and impressed. Anderson was questioned about United’s interest. He said: “I’ve had a good season, and Mourinho has a love [for me] that exists, I will not lie. It’s a dream, something that all players want. As I said, his love is old and I like his work. He’s a great coach and I hope everything works out. I can’t talk about Manchester United. It’s not just up to me. It’s up to Benfica, my representatives, who are dealing with the situation. Soon, they’ll have news.” He scored 17 times in 33 appearances and fired his side to the Turkish title.

ON AUBAMEYANG’S TRAIL

With PSG pulling out of a deal for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, United have emerged as a potential destination for the Dortmund star. He wants out and could join former teammate Henrikh Mkhitaryan at Old Trafford. With United potentially spending £70m on Belotti, the deal could be plugged and Aubameyang targeted. With Rooney potentially leaving and Ibrahimovic already out, United could take the plunge for Aubameyang.

JANUZAJ LINKS

Roma and Juventus have been linked with a move for Adnan Januzaj this summer. The Belgian is expected to leave this summer. The two join a list comprising West Brom and West Ham. Mourinho is said to have conveyed the club’s decision to sell Januzaj. Any deal is expected to contain a sell-on and buy-back clause. United will want to avoid another Pogba like situation and buy back their former player for a cut-price.

MORE GOOD NEWS

After backing off a move for David De Gea, Real had prioritised the signing of Gianluigi Donnarumma. With the Italian rejecting a new deal at the San Siro, he is expected to be on the move this summer. He could be off to Madrid which is the odds-on favourite. AC Milan are under pressure to sell this summer to avoid losing the world’s best goalkeeping prospect for nothing next campaign.
