United set to lose key target as youngster joins

SECOND SIGNING COMPLETE

Manchester United have completed the signing of Irish wonderkid Ethan Galbraith. The move was close yesterday and the Irish FA confirmed the same last night. Galbraith, 16, will link up with Nicky Butt’s colts after agreeing to a three year deal. The deal is expected to be sealed over the weekend. The FA Said: “We are all delighted that Ethan has signed for Manchester United. He was a pleasure to work with due to his character, attitude and enthusiasm for the game. He is an outstanding talent and I’m sure he will continue to develop and improve at such a fantastic club. We wish him all the very best and look forward to seeing him playing for Northern Ireland in the years to come.”

SAUL NIGUEZ REACTS TO SPECULATION

Spanish sensation Saul Niguez has responded to speculation linking him to both Barcelona and Manchester United. The 22 year old said: “I have no intention of moving. I’m where I want to be and things are going to remain the same. Atletico have put their trust in me since I was young and I want to repay that confidence.” Niguez has performed superbly in the ongoing u-21 Euros, scoring 5 goals in 3 matches. He is one of the hottest properties in Spain and will no doubt make a move to one of the ‘clubs’ soon.

ANOTHER DEAL CLOSE

Manchester United have ‘beaten’ Juventus in the race of French 16 year old Aliou Traore. Reports suggest that Traore signed for United last week. Traore previously played for the Paris Saint-Germain academy. He is expected to spend a season with the academy before signing for the first team next summer. Traore joins Galbraith as one of the promising United stars of the future.

MORATA IN MANCHESTER?

Reports suggest that a private jet carrying Alvaro Morata landed in Manchester last night from Manchester. The legitimacy of this report is as of yet unknown.

United remain locked in negotiations with Madrid and a deal is believed to be close to completion. United will meet Madrid’s valuation before the squad regroups for preseason.

MISSING OUT

Manchester United will reportedly miss out on signing Fabinho as Paris Saint Germain have pulled clear of United in the race to the Brazilian’s signature. While the player’s preferred destination is United, PSG are willing to offer more money than United and it may be enough to convince Monaco to sell of their star players to their biggest rivals.
