Zlatan Ibrahimovic all but confirmed that he was leaving Manchester United in an Instagram post yesterday.
The 28 goal striker suffered a season ending knee injury in April and was the only player on United’s released list. He will however continue rehabilitation with United as the dynamic Swede aims to return to the pitch before the scheduled New Year return. His recovery is reportedly happening quicker than expected.
TELLING THE FRIENDS
Manchester United target Alvaro Morata has reportedly told his friends that he will move to Manchester this summer after reaching an agreement with Real Madrid. Morata held talks with Florentino Perez personally after cutting short his honeymoon and the club and the player is believed to have agreed to finalise the transfer soon. Morata’s representatives have made it clear that the player wants a move. United are willing to pay as much as £63m and are reluctant to meet Real’s asking price of £79.5m. Mourinho is hoping that the transfer is concluded before July 9th, the day United fly to the States for their Tour 2017.
