Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers will be hoping Man United’s top players kick into gear after an underwhelming start to the campaign.
The Red Devils picked up just one point from their opening two games against Arsenal and Fulham, and desperately need to defeat Burnley at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The mood around the club dipped even further in midweek as League Two side Grimsby Town dumped them out of the League Cup.
Several United players have been popular picks with FPL managers this term, including Bruno Fernandes, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
The trio were tipped by Spreadex Sports to be among the top ten midfielders in FPL this season, but have failed to live up to expectations over the first couple of games.
With that in mind, read on as we look at Man United’s team news ahead of the game, before assessing whether any of their players are worth including in FPL teams this weekend.

Lisandro Martinez is sidelined with a long-term knee injury, but Noussair Mazraoui is closing in on a return from a thigh problem. United could line up as follows:

Man United produced an abject display at Grimsby, slipping to a 12-11 penalty shoot-out defeat after the game finished 2-2 at the end of 90 minutes.
Manager Ruben Amorim’s unyielding faith in his 3-4-2-1 system is weighing heavily on United, but it seems unlikely that he will deviate from the plan.
Amorim faces a conundrum in goal, with Andre Onana failing to cover himself in glory at Blundell Park after being selected ahead of Altay Bayindir.
While Onana may get the nod against Burnley, it would be a brave move to include him in FPL teams this weekend given his shaky performance against Grimsby.
Matthijs de Ligt and Leny Yoro could be popular defensive picks after relatively strong starts to the season, but they also come with risks attached.
The biggest headache for FPL managers is undoubtedly further forward, with none of the United’s midfielders or attackers living up to expectations to date.
Amad Diallo looks completely unsuited to the right-wing back role, and his presence in the team is creating issues elsewhere on the pitch.
Switching Patrick Dorgu to the right flank could be an option, although Amorim may be reluctant to use youngster Diego Leon as his replacement.
Mason Mount has the ability to play there, and his greater experience could be a useful asset against the newly-promoted team.
Fernandes, Cunha and Mbeumo will all be hoping for a change of fortunes this weekend, and they may be captaincy picks for many FPL managers.
Benjamin Sesko could also be a tempting proposition having shown some signs of promise off the bench in United’s first two league matches.
