Born in the Polish town of Skwierzyna on the 28th of February 2003, Hubert Graczyk moved to England when he was two-years-old. Having played for numerous low-level sides, he joined the Everton youth setup at the age of 14. Not long after that, he was signed up to the Arsenal Academy, signing his first professional contract with the Gunners on the 28th of February 2021.
A couple of years later, Graczyk joined Slough Town on loan in order to gain some first-team experience, playing three games for the team in 2023, which obviously wasn’t the degree of experience he wanted.
In 2024, Graczyk was signed up by Manchester United’s Academy, where the Red Devils were looking to improve their goalkeeping prospects after a couple of fallow years in the first-team. As well as Graczyk, United also had Radek Vítek in the youth setup. Although Graczyk wasn’t officially named in the matchday squad for the Old Trafford side, he did feature in the warm-ups for games against both Southampton and his former club Arsenal at the start of 2025.
The match against the Gunners was in the FA Cup, whilst the Saints game was in the Premier League, with Graczyk having been promoted following third-choice goalkeeper Tom Heaton’s absence.
