Thomas Myles, better known as Tom, is from Preston and was born on the 17th of November 2005. He joined the Manchester United Academy on the first of July 2022, working with the team there in order to improve as a goalkeeper and try to advance through the system.
In the 2023-2024 campaign, Myles made 20 appearances for the Manchester United Under-18s team, helping the young side go on to win the Premier League and Premier League Cup in their age group. He then enjoyed a couple of outings with the Under-21s before being sent out on loan in the August of 2024.

The loan move was to Runcorn Linnets, whom he joined on the last day of the month and remained there until returning to Manchester United on the 31st of January 2025. It was whilst with the Linnets that he played in the Liverpool FA Senior Cup and earned a Man of the Match award, thanks to his heroics in a penalty shootout. Myles had previously played for the club in the Northern Premier League West nearly two months prior, but was called upon to try to stop the club from exiting the competition.
He saved a penalty from Ryan Brooke as well as another from Jaden Jones.
