Ruud Van Nistelrooy scored in his first ever game for United against bitter rivals Liverpool in the Community Shield. Following a through pass by Giggs, Ruud rounded past Liverpool keeper Sander Westerveld as he got one back for his side. Unfortunately for him, the goal wasn\u2019t enough to spark a comeback as Liverpool ran away with a 2-1 win and clained their 14th<\/sup> Community Shield trophy.<\/p>\n
