United cleared by FIFA and more Ronaldo talk

ONLY CHOICE I

Cristiano Ronaldo will only leave Real Madrid for a move to Manchester United. Despite clubs like PSG, Chelsea and Manchester City showing interest in Ronaldo, the player himself is only interested in leaving for United. Ronaldo is currently in action in the FIFA Confederations Cup and his future will be sorted out only after the conclusion of the tournament.

ONLY CHOICE II

Another Real Madrid player wants a move to Old Trafford. James Rodriguez reportedly rejected a £52.9m bid from AC Milan. Perez and Madrid had reportedly agreed a fee but Rodriguez said no to the deal as he has eyes only on Old Trafford. While United are yet to contact Madrid over a potential transfer for the Colombian, the club have reportedly spoken to the player about a move. Rodriguez could potentially be one of three Real players joining United this summer. United will most probably have to cough up more than what Milan offered due to the bad blood between the clubs originating from the Ronaldo’s time and continuing with the David De Gea fax machine incident.

BESIKTAS RESPOND TO SPECULATION

Besiktas chief ruled out the transfer of Anderson Talisca to Manchester United. The player is due to spend a second season in Istanbul on loan from Benfica and the Turkish side expect him to stay. Talisca spoke about a dream move to United and the opportunity to play under Mourinho but it seems that the Brazilian will have to wait for another year. A club official for Besiktas said: “It’s a love that exists, I will not lie. Well every players dreams of playing in the Premier League or La Liga but Talisca has another year with us. We have to be informed of any transfers, it cannot go ahead without us at the table, we have not been informed of a Man United deal.’

MEGA DEALS ON OFFER

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola revealed that Zlatan has numerous offers from a lot of clubs including from the MLS and beyond. Raiola said: “Ibra is fine, he’s received so many offers, from the US and beyond. He’s certainly not going to Napoli. Milan haven’t asked me about him.”

POGBA TRANFER UPDATE

FIFA released a statement on the on-going investigation regarding the transfer of Paul Pogba. An official said that while United are NOT under investigation, Juventus are. The investigation began in the wake of a leak that claimed that Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola was paid absurd amounts of money to make the move a reality. The official said: “We can confirm that disciplinary proceedings have been opened against Juventus FC. We cannot comment further as proceedings are ongoing. We can confirm that no disciplinary proceedings have been opened against Manchester United.
