LEGENDS GAME RECAP

PEREIRA SIGNS NEW CONTRACT

The deal has the option of being extended for another season by United. Pereira said: “I am delighted that I have extended my contract with this great club. The manager is building a great team here and I want to be part of that as soon as possible.”

PERISIC’S ANTI UNITED CLAUSE

Inter Milan and Ivan Perisic are close to agreeing on a new deal for the Croatian. It is believed that there is an anti-United clause in the new deal. The clause states that United would have to shell out as much as £64m if they try to sign Perisic again next summer. United had targeted Perisic all summer but were reluctant to pay Inter’s asking price of £50m. It was expected United would return for Perisic next summer but Inter’s move may have put paid to Perisic’s hopes of joining United.
